birding south africa
A pair of Bateleur. During territorial display Bateleurs will raise their folded wings before taking a bow while calling. This picture was taken on one of our recent birding trips through the Kruger National Park.
Rock Pratincoles are specialized nesting birds. We found them on rocks in the Chobe River in Botswana where the water runs fast and deep. Our guide has such a passion for birds and his photography knowledge is a asset for birding photographers as he maneuver the boat for best lighting and composition.
These beautiful Bee-eaters can be seen on our day trips and tours during summer.
